Field monitoring of the forest fire extinguishing operations in the Hammam Melouane municipalities region by the Director General of Civil Protection

As part of the ongoing field monitoring of the forest fire operations in the municipalities of Hammam Melouane, Tebinate, and Ouled Yaïch, the Director General of Civil Protection, Colonel Boualem Boughlaf, visited the site. He observed the progress of the intervention and firefighting operations and assessed the readiness of the deployed personnel and equipment.

The Director General also received on-site briefings on the evolving situation and the progress of interventions across various sectors. He issued instructions to continue firefighting and containment efforts, ensuring close coordination between the different units and agencies involved, until the fire is completely extinguished.

The intervention operations are continuing around the clock, with all necessary resources being deployed to protect the safety of citizens, property, and the forest resources.
