The President of the Republic honored an elite group of Algerian athletes who won continental and international competitions

As part of this prestigious recognition, Salem Tama and Mohamed Maoui, boxers from the Civil Protection Agents’ Sports Association, were honored for their outstanding participation with the national boxing team in the “Korotkov Memorial” International Tournament in Khabarovsk, Russia (2026 edition), where they won two silver medals.

This achievement reflects the discipline and determination that characterize the athletes of the Civil Protection, and their consistent contribution to raising the national flag high in international competitions.
