The General Directorate of Civil Protection participated in a seminar and training session on modern geospatial technologies for forest fire management. Held on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at the National Higher School of Forestry in Khenchela Province, the event was organized in coordination with the General Directorate for Scientific Research and Technological Development and the Research Center for Regional Planning.
The event was led by academics, researchers, and experts in the field.
It was attended by 20 officers from Civil Protection directorates across eastern Algeria, as well as representatives from the General Directorate of Forests.
