During the period from June 2nd to 3rd, 2026 (until 8:00 AM), Civil Protection units recorded 3,570 interventions, averaging one intervention every 24 seconds. These included 2,077 medical evacuations and 652 other operations, across several provinces of the country, following distress calls from citizens. In the context of traffic accidents, Civil Protection units carried out 210 interventions following numerous accidents across the country. These accidents resulted in one fatality at the scene and injuries to 239 others, with varying degrees of severity. The victims received on-site treatment and were then transported by our services to local hospitals.

Regarding the interventions of the Coast Guard and Recreation Service during the same period, it carried out 79 interventions, rescuing 64 people from imminent drowning and providing first aid to 9 people on site, in addition to transferring 6 people to local health centers. No drowning deaths were recorded.

Similarly, the Forest and Agricultural Firefighting Service intervened during the same period to extinguish 40 vegetation fires, including: 1 brush fire, 24 crop fires, 4 fruit tree fires, 6 hay bale fires, and 5 palm tree fires, across several provinces of the country. It is worth noting that the rapid and effective intervention of our services allowed us to extinguish these fires and prevent their spread to other vegetation.
