The preventive and operational apparatus of civil protection for securing baccalaureate examinations – June 2026 session

As part of the preparations for securing the June 2026 Baccalaureate exams, organized by the Ministry of National Education (National Office for Examinations and Competitions), the General Directorate of Civil Protection has established a comprehensive preventive and operational plan. This plan aims to ensure the smooth running of this important national educational event and to provide suitable security conditions for candidates and supervisors throughout the country.

In this context, the Civil Protection’s technical services have begun a series of preventive and security visits to the provincial branches of the National Office for Examinations and Competitions, as well as to the educational institutions designated as examination centers and marking centers. These visits aim to inspect the various facilities, monitor the availability of safety and security measures, verify the readiness of prevention and protection equipment, and confirm that the structures comply with applicable safety standards.

From an organizational standpoint, the preventive plan has been implemented in accordance with the procedures and regulations applicable to such events. This includes ensuring the continuous and permanent presence of Civil Protection personnel at examination centers and designated locations within the operational plan. This will continue throughout the examination period until all related tasks are completed.

On the operational side, the General Directorate of Civil Protection has mobilized all necessary human and material resources to ensure the success of this operation. The National Center for Printing Baccalaureate Exam Papers was secured a full month before the start of the exams, with protection and security coverage guaranteed until the end of the process.

The operational plan also includes comprehensive coverage of all examination centers and relevant marking centers. This is achieved through the deployment of equipped intervention teams consisting of ambulances and fire trucks, while maintaining the readiness of various operational units at all times for rapid intervention when necessary.

As part of field monitoring and operational coordination, monitoring cells have been established at the district level, in addition to activating command centers at the main Civil Protection units. This ensures real-time monitoring of the examination process and immediate response to any potential emergency.

To guarantee the success of this plan, approximately 8,000 intervention personnel of various ranks, supported by 588 ambulances and 292 fire trucks, have been mobilized to ensure the safety and security of all involved. The Directorate General of Civil Protection will support candidates and supervisors, contributing to creating the best possible conditions for the Baccalaureate exams.

The Directorate General of Civil Protection reiterates its ongoing commitment to supporting major national events by deploying all necessary human and material resources to ensure the safety and security of citizens.
