Civil Protection Units intervention results between April 15 and 16, 2026 (in the last 24 hours)

During the period from April 15 to 16, 2026 (until 8:00 am), civil protection units recorded 3,587 interventions at a rate of (01 intervention every 24 seconds), including 2,709 health evacuations and 553 different operations, across several states of the country, following receiving distress calls from citizens. These interventions included various areas of civil protection activities, whether related to traffic accidents, domestic accidents, health evacuations, Fire suppression, as well as security services.
In the context of traffic accidents, the Civil Protection Units carried out 167 interventions following several accidents recorded across several states of the country, which resulted in the death of 3 people at the scene of the accidents and the injury of 182 others with various injuries of varying severity. The victims were taken care of on the spot and transferred by our services to local hospitals. The bloodiest accidents were recorded in each of the states of M’Sila, N’Qazzam and Constantine, where in the state of M’Sila: With the death of 01 person and the injury of 03 others, as a result of a serial collision between two trucks and two cars, at the level of National Road No. 08, in the place called Ain El Hanash area, Bou Saada municipality and district, and also in the state of In Guezzam: With the death of 01 person and the injury of 01 others, as a result of a car overturning, at the level of State Road No. 55 in the place called Chouart area, Tin Zouatin municipality and district, also in the state of Constantine: With the death of 01 person, As a result of a motorcycle swerving on the East-West Highway, Zighoud Youcef Municipality and District.
Divers from the Civil Protection Services of Tizi Ouzou Province also intervened to recover 01 deceased people in Bahri, aged 56 years, in the place called Al-Sakhra, the municipality of Mazrana and the district of Tigzirt, the victim’s body was transferred to Tigzirt Hospital, for your information, the search for a second possible victim is continuing by Our services.
