Civil Protection’s participation in the activities celebrating the African Anti-Corruption Day
Colonel Garach Doudah, Director of Studies at the General Directorate of Civil Protection, represented the Director General of Civil Protection at the African Anti-Corruption Day celebrations, held under the auspices of Professor Salima Mesrati, President of the High Authority for Transparency, Prevention and Combating of Corruption.
The event included the recognition of sectors that topped the transparency, prevention and combating of corruption indicators within the “Efficiency-Integrity” program.
The General Directorate of Civil Protection was honored for its efforts in consolidating the principles of transparency and good governance, particularly through the establishment of a mechanism to mitigate conflicts of interest. This mechanism is considered a model initiative aimed at promoting integrity and impartiality in the performance of duties.
During the workshop, the General Directorate of Civil Protection’s experience was presented, along with several successful experiences shared by other ministerial departments and directorates general. This exchange of expertise and dissemination of best practices in the field of corruption prevention and the consolidation of a culture of institutional compliance was part of the ongoing effort.
