Giving the starting signal for the agricultural crop fire prevention campaign in the southern states of Adrar

Within the framework of embodying the work program of the General Directorate of Civil Protection, the national campaign to prevent agricultural crop fires and contribute to ensuring food security is launched today, organized under the slogan: “With awareness and cooperation we protect our agricultural crops.” In this context, this morning, the Secretary-General of Adrar Province, in charge of managing the affairs of the state on an acting basis, accompanied by Inspector Colonel Ashour Farouk, supervised the official launch of the activities of this campaign, in the presence of the Sub-Director of Statistics and Media at the General Directorate of Civil Protection Major Barnawi Naseem, along with the Director of Civil Protection for Adrar Province, Lieutenant Colonel Qureshi Hakim.

This occasion witnessed the organization of several awareness-raising activities for farmers and citizens, aiming to enhance awareness and establish a culture of preventing crop fires.

This campaign falls within the strategy of the General Directorate of Civil Protection, which aims to enhance preventive work to protect agricultural resources, and to emphasize the importance of proactive work, coordination and cooperation between the various professional bodies concerned, civil society and citizens.
