Official launch of the second day of the Algerian-Tunisian Joint Technical Committee

The Algerian-Tunisian Joint Committee on Civil Protection held its meeting today in El Oued Province, Algeria, on January 20 and 21 of this year.

The meeting was chaired by the Directors General of both countries, highlighting the importance of cooperation between Algeria and Tunisia in the field of civil protection.

During the meeting, representatives from both countries discussed various measures to strengthen cooperation in civil protection. They also exchanged information on advanced technologies and methods to be used in emergencies, as well as training programs to be planned and implemented to improve the skills of civil protection personnel.

The two sides agreed to enhance the exchange of expertise and best practices in crisis management to ensure better coordination during emergency interventions. They emphasized the importance of solidarity and cooperation between the two countries in addressing shared challenges in the areas of cooperation and mutual assistance.

Finally, the two Directors General expressed their satisfaction with the progress of the Joint Committee’s work and affirmed their commitment to continuing to work together to strengthen bilateral cooperation in civil protection.
