Receiving the delegation participating in the scientific technical workshop on the Arabic earthquake code
Within the framework of the technical-scientific workshop on the Arab Earthquake Code, organized by the Arab Center for the Prevention of Earthquake Hazards and Other Natural Disasters, in coordination with the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States and the United Nations Office, the National Unit for Training and Intervention for Civil Protection received this morning the delegation participating in this workshop.
The delegation was received by Colonel Nashab Farid, Director of Prevention, accompanied by the Sub-Director of Major Hazards.
The visit program included detailed explanations of various civil protection tasks and intervention methods in the event of major disasters. The delegation also toured the National Training and Intervention Unit’s facilities, where they learned about the equipment used and the tasks assigned to civil protection.
During this visit, various questions and inquiries raised by delegation members were answered, along with comprehensive explanations about the Civil Protection Corps.
On the sidelines of the visit, the delegation met with the Director General of Civil Protection, Colonel Boualem Bouglaf.
