Participation of Algerian Civil Protection throughout the country in the major national campaign to plant one million seedlings

     In commemoration of the National Tree Day, which falls on October 25 of each year, and on the occasion of the launch of the major national campaign to plant one million seedlings across the various states of the country, the local authorities across the various states of the country supervised the official launch signal for the afforestation operations, which affected a number of areas and witnessed the effective participation of civil protection across the entire national territory represented by all its interests and operational units, in addition to the military and civilian sectors and various segments of society From institutions, bodies and citizens.
       It is worth noting that this initiative falls within the framework of a national program launched by the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Fisheries and the General Directorate of Forests, in cooperation with the Green Algeria Association, with the aim of enhancing vegetation cover, combating the effects of climate change, and consolidating the culture of afforestation and environmental care, which contributes to achieving sustainable development and preserving Forest wealth.
