Algerian Civil Protection participates in the international training course hosted by the Russian Center for Humanitarian Response

“Conducting Emergency Rescue Operations Under Rubble, in Buildings, and Facilities”

The Russian Center for Humanitarian Response (RACHR) hosted an international training course from July 21 to August 2, 2026.

Representatives from 12 member states of the International Civil Defence Organisation (ICDO) participated in the course. First Lieutenant Larashi Lotfi represented the Algerian Civil Protection, and along with the other participants, underwent intensive training under the supervision of the center’s instructors.

The program included a theoretical course, as well as two practical modules dedicated to the use of specialized rescue equipment in emergency situations, in addition to techniques for lifting and transporting heavy loads.

The Algerian Civil Protection representative successfully passed the final theoretical exam via the center’s online learning portal.
