Launch of the 12th International Training Course on Mountain Rescue
The 12th International Mountain Rescue Training Course, hosted annually by the Kyrgyz Republic under the auspices of the International Civil Defence Organisation (ICDO), has commenced.
This year’s edition features participants from 12 countries and will run for two weeks, including theoretical and practical lessons, group activities, and experience-sharing programs.
The Algerian Civil Protection is represented at this important international event by First Lieutenant Fekas Ibrahim, a specialist officer in the GRIMP (Ground Recognition and Intervention Unit), reflecting the agency’s commitment to developing the skills of its personnel and keeping pace with international standards in dealing with major hazards and challenging terrain.
