Civil Protection Units intervention results between April 12 and 13, 2026 (in the last 24 hours)

 During the period from April 12 to 13, 2026 (until 8:00 am), civil protection units recorded 3,498 interventions at a rate of (01 intervention every 24 seconds), including 2,597 health evacuations and 560 different operations, across several states of the country, following receiving distress calls from citizens. These interventions included various areas of civil protection activities, whether related to traffic accidents, domestic accidents, health evacuations, Fire suppression, as well as security services.

In the context of traffic accidents, the Civil Protection Units carried out 185 interventions following several accidents recorded across several states of the country, which resulted in the death of 4 people at the scene of the accidents and the injury of 247 others with various injuries of varying severity. The victims were taken care of on the spot and transferred by our services to local hospitals. The heaviest toll recorded at the level of the state of Touggourt was the death of 1 person and the injury of 2 others As a result of a car swerving and overturning, at the level of National Road No. 124, Al-Alia Municipality and Al-Hujaira District.


For your information, the Civil Protection Units of Guelma Province intervened to extinguish a fire that broke out in the dyeing factory, in the place called the village of Boudroua, the municipality of Oued Fraga and the district of Bouchkouf. This fire caused 1 person to suffer from shortness of breath as a result of inhaling smoke. The victim was taken care of on the spot and then transferred to the local hospital. Significant human and material resources were mobilized to eliminate the flames, with a total of 13 units, including 11 fire trucks 01 mechanical ladder truck and 01 ambulance, the intervention of our services made it possible to control this fire and prevent it from spreading to the rest of the neighboring places.

Also, the civil protection services of Annaba Province intervened following a city gas explosion followed by a fire inside an apartment, in the place called Iqama al-Salam, Annaba Municipality and District, which caused 01 people to suffer third-degree burns, and the victim was taken care of on the spot and transferred to the local hospital.

Regarding the interventions of the Civil Protection services related to the weather fluctuations that affected several states of the country, including Jijel, Naama, Tizi Ouzou, M’Sila, Bouira, Sidi Bel Abbes and Djelfa, our services rescued 1 person and removed and deported 2 cars, in addition to rescuing 22 cows in each of the states of Naama and Jijel. Our services also carried out several water absorption operations
