Field follow-up of forest fire suppression operations in Guelma Province

In accordance with the instructions of the Director General of Civil Protection, Colonel Boualem Boughelouf, and as part of the ongoing field monitoring of forest fire operations, the Director of Operations Organization and Coordination, the Deputy Director of Information and Awareness, along with the Director of Civil Protection for the Wilaya of Guelma and the Head of the Intervention Office, traveled to the site of the forest fire in the Qalaat Bousbaa area of ​​Mount Houara, to assess the progress of the firefighting operations and monitor the intervention.

The firefighting operations are continuing with the deployment of significant human and material resources, supported by mobile columns, regional detachments, and aerial assets, within the framework of close coordination between the various stakeholders, with the aim of controlling the fire, protecting lives and property, preserving forest resources, and limiting the spread of the flames.
