Receiving students of the international program «Hadi Al-Arwah» in its twelfth edition at the General Directorate of Civil Protection

As part of the 12th edition of the international “Hadi Al-Arwah” program, the General Directorate of Civil Protection welcomed a delegation of participating students from Algeria and from the fraternal nations of Palestine, Chad, and Russia. The visit program included several field activities and introductory sessions regarding the various structures and missions of the Civil Protection, including:
– National Coordination Center
The students began their visit by learning about the Center’s mandate and its role in monitoring and coordinating operations and responses to various hazards and disasters. They received briefings on operational management mechanisms and coordination with operational coordination centers at the level of key units, and were introduced to the digital platforms and applications used to monitor and manage operations.
– National Civil Protection Museum
The visit also included the National Civil Protection Museum, where students explored the history of the Civil Protection sector, its stages of development, and the key milestones that have defined its journey in protecting lives and property.
– National Training and Intervention Unit
The visit concluded at the headquarters of the National Training and Intervention Unit. There, students were introduced to the various specialized teams and their operational duties, as well as the training resources and educational equipment utilized for instruction and professional development.
This visit was organized to showcase the experience of the Algerian
Civil Protection—including its organizational structure and operational mechanisms—particularly in the areas of operational coordination, training, and intervention in response to various hazards and disasters.
