Field visit to follow up on the major disaster management exercise in Bouira State The Director General of Civil Protection, Colonel Boualem Bouglaf, accompanied by the Director General of the Rescue and Fire Services Service of the Czech Republic, General Vladimir Vlicek, made a field visit to the site of the field exercise on the management and administration of major disasters in the state of Bouira. The visit program included several important stations: Provide a comprehensive presentation on the organization of the exercise and the working mechanisms of the various intervention teams, along with an explanation of the intervention and coordination plans. Visit the Exercise Activation Directorate, where the technical aspect of operations management and scenario simulation during disasters was examined. Go to the operations base of the various participating teams and review the deployment of operational means and equipment placed in the field. Visit the sites where practical maneuvers were conducted, where they observed how to intervene in rescue situations, remove rubble, and provide operational support. The visit concluded at the Advanced Medical Center, where the mechanisms for medical triage, first aid, and evacuation of the injured were determined. This visit embodies the strengthening of international cooperation in the field of rescue, and emphasizes the importance of exchanging experiences and developing operational capabilities to confront major disasters effectively and professionally.
On the sidelines of the national exercise of the support and initial intervention teams in the state of Bouira, and on the occasion of the conclusion of the practical visit made by the Director General of the Fire and Rescue Services Service to the Czech Republic, General Vladimir Vlicek, the Director General of Civil Protection, Colonel Boualem Bouglaf, and his Czech counterpart supervised a working meeting devoted to studying a draft cooperation agreement between the two agencies.
This project aims to enhance the prospects for bilateral cooperation between the two countries in various fields, including prevention, developing operational aspects and intervention using modern technologies, as well as exchanging expertise and experiences between the Algerian National School of Civil Protection and its Czech counterpart, which contributes to developing capabilities and raising the level of performance in the field of civil protection.
