The Director General of Civil Protection, Colonel Boualem Boughlaf receives the Director General of Civil Protection of the Republic of Niger at the headquarters of the General Directorate of Civil Protection.

In the context of strengthening bilateral cooperation between Algeria and the Republic of Niger, the Director General of Civil Protection, Colonel Boualem Boughelouf, received the Director General of Civil Protection of the Republic of Niger at the headquarters of the Directorate General of Civil Protection.

This meeting provided an opportunity to discuss ways to enhance joint cooperation between the two agencies, particularly in the areas of training, exchange of expertise, operational disaster management, and rescue and relief efforts, as well as developing coordination and cooperation mechanisms in the field of civil protection.

Both sides emphasized the importance of supporting the bilateral partnership and intensifying cooperation programs to contribute to raising the readiness and capabilities of the civil protection services in both countries, reflecting the deep fraternal relations that unite Algeria and Niger.

On the sidelines of this visit, the Nigerien Director General visited the National Operational Coordination Center for Civil Protection, where he was briefed on the operational management mechanisms and the various monitoring and coordination tools used in responding to interventions and managing disasters and emergencies.

The visit also included the Civil Protection Museum, where the delegation received explanations about the various historical stages that the Algerian Civil Protection has gone through, and the development that the institution has witnessed in the field of prevention, first aid and rescue, in addition to learning about the most important historical means and equipment used throughout the different periods.
