The Director General of Civil Protection participates in the 26th Ordinary Session of the General Assembly of the International Civil Defence Organisation

The Director General of Civil Protection participated in the 26th Ordinary Session of the General Assembly of the International Civil Defence Organisation (ICDO) and the 57th Session of the ICDO Executive Council.

During the 26th Ordinary Session of the General Assembly of the ICDO and the 57th Session of the ICDO Executive Council, held on October 28, 29, and 30, 2024, in the Arab Republic of Egypt, Algeria was unanimously re-elected on October 30, 2024, as a member of the ICDO Executive Council for a term of 2024-2028.

Also during the same meeting, at the proposal and endorsement of Algeria, the State of Palestine was unanimously admitted to the ICDO Executive Council.

As a reminder, Algeria was represented at this Ordinary Session by the Director General of Civil Protection, Colonel Boughelab Boualem, accompanied by Colonel Karach Doudah, Director of Studies.
