The General Directorate of Civil Protection participates in the activities of the awareness day on traffic accidents

As part of efforts to promote a culture of prevention and road safety, the General Directorate of Civil Protection participated in an awareness day on traffic accidents during the Eid al-Adha holiday. The event, organized by the National Institute of Public Health, was held at the “Disabled Veterans of the National Liberation War” passenger transport station in El Khroub.

The General Directorate of Civil Protection contributed to the event by delivering an informative presentation on the phenomenon of traffic accidents during Eid al-Adha, highlighting their main causes and methods of prevention, particularly regarding respect for traffic laws and avoiding speeding and fatigue while driving.

Civil Protection services also participated in the awareness seminar and organized an exhibition showcasing equipment and tools used in traffic accident interventions. The aim was to familiarize citizens with the Civil Protection’s role in rescue and first aid, and to promote preventative awareness among all segments of society to reduce traffic accidents and their consequences.
